Akaluv has been supportive and helpful to me since I started this blog earlier this year and I appreciate her so much! She is also a story writer herself and has several stories on the go. Sorry there are only five but I’m honestly totally snowed under with other writing, so it’s the best I could come up with without cutting into writing time. 🙂

Akaluv didn’t specify about the questions so I’ll just use the same questions that she answered. 😀

What do you hope to gain from blogging?

I actually started this blog so that I could share my D&D (Dungeons & Dragons) inspired stories with others in the group easily. However it quickly became my personal world and realm. I love connecting with others and encouraging them. So what do I hope to gain, I want to gain an army of loyal readers for my Ryllian Army but more importantly I want to encourage my fellow writers cause it can be tough and lonely and sometimes you need a happy place that you can escape to. I want my blog to be that place. ❤

What genre of film entertains you the most?

I do love a good fantasy adventure, however I do also enjoy period/medieval stories (preferably not too gory though) So like Pride and Prejudice and things like that. 🙂

Do you consider yourself a writer, and what inspires you to write?

I consider myself an apprentice writer, I’m definitely not nearly finished my training yet, but one day I hope to be a fully fledged author.

Inspiration comes in many forms it is hard to pin point a certain thing. My family and friends inspire me but so does music and D&D.

Why did you choose your particular WordPress username?

My username, Shadow Summit has a long backstory, so get comfortable. Shadow Summit has been the name I go for since I started my online journey. My gaming name was always Shadow Summit and it kinda just stuck for every other thing that needs a username.

Now how did the name Shadow Summit get made? I wrote a super-hero series of stories when I first began writing and my favorite character in the group was a serious, dark haired beauty named Shadow Summit. She was the princess of one of the nations and had a sister named Light who was fair and blonde. Shadow had been treated differently since she was a child and she took things seriously. I loved her dark persona and yet she had more kindness than many of the other characters combined.

What is your favorite book, and why does it speak to you?

I don’t understand this question, I don’t believe it is possible to have just one favorite book and I shall not be answering that question. I will however give you my current favorite which I’m reading and find heart wrenching and thrilling and beautiful all at the same time. It is The Assassin’s Blade – Sarah. J. Maas and it is the prequel in her Throne of Glass series.

What is your favorite song, and why does it speak to you?

Music, ahh, I love you. My current favorite song is Faded by Alan Walker. Partially because it’s great for action scenes but mostly because I saw this AMV (Anime Music Video) and it is good. Aaah you should watch it. ❤

What is your favorite photograph, and why does it speak to you?

My favorite photograph is of me and my younger brother dressed in black gumboots, black pants, black t-shirts, black bandannas, black home-made masks and black polyethylene pipes (which we were using as swords). We are standing with our ‘swords’ pointed at the camera, with our dog Zorro standing between us. It just brings back so many good memories of when I was a kid and the days of endless imaginative fun with pirates, soldiers, kings, queens and terrible ogres. 🙂
